To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cortez, Nike has teamed up with Union in a colour-way inspired by Los Angeles. 

The Nike Cortez Union Sesame reveals a base in canvas multicoloured. Mostly light brown, this revamped silhouette is topped with suede leather. The Swoosh lateral is presented in pink and matches the front part of the eyelets and the back tab on which the Frontman logo of the Chris Gibbs. The turquoise trim refers to the history of the model with the inscriptions "Cortez 1972"This is the original release date of the pair. Lower down, the midsole is made of foam Crater while the outsole contains at least 10% Nike Grind material. 

Through this variation, which represents the cultural diversity of L.A., the Beaverton brand and the Californian shop offer a rejuvenated version of a classic.
